The ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification is a globally recognized accountancy certification for aspiring financial professionals. It equips individuals with the technical, ethical, and professional skills needed to succeed in accounting and finance.
ACCA qualification is divided into three levels:

Foundation-level courses introducing accounting
principles.

Compulsory Exams:
Eligibility varies depending on your academic background. Common entry requirements include:
- Two (2) passes at A-Level plus three (3) passes at O-Level (or equivalent) in five separate subjects, including Maths and English.
- A recognized diploma or advanced diploma in a related field from a recognized institution. A Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) is acceptable.
- If you already have a relevant finance or accounting qualification, you may be eligible for exemptions.
You can begin with the Foundation Level, earning an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4). Once you pass, you will move on to the Applied Skills exams.
Exams are conducted quarterly in March, June, September, and December.
To qualify, you must:
- Pass all required exams.
- Complete the Ethics and Professional Skills module, which develops critical skills needed for the workplace (This should be done before attempting the strategic professional exam stage)
- Fulfill a 36-month practical experience requirement in a relevant role.
There is no time limit for completing the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams. Once you pass your first Strategic Professional exam, you have seven years to complete the remaining exams.
